...and NOT look like everyone else!
So you finish your senior year, get your yearbook and start flipping through to find your picture, but umm…why do all these other people have the same background and pose that you picked out for your photo? You thought the photographer you chose told you the shoot would be all about you. And now here you are, looking exactly like everyone else. UGH!
How can we stop this from happening? How can you get photos that ACTUALLY represent you? And how can you find a photographer that isn’t going to sell you a bunch of empty promises?
Questions to ask your photographer:
Picking the right photographer for you is essential! You need to ask the right questions!
Does your photographer have the proof to back it up that they can create some one of a kind images for you? Ask them if they can show you what a full gallery of images looks like. When they show you, keep a lookout for these 5 things:
-
Is there variety in their posing or does it all look the same?
-
Do they go to all the same backdrops/locations?
-
How do the seniors look in the images? Uncomfortable? Stiff? Forced smile?
-
Are the images overly retouched? Can you see skin texture or is it overly airbrushed?
-
Is there enough variety in their shots - do they have headshots, full body, ¾ body of the same outfit?
- Do they have a survey to fill out BEFORE your shoot?
